Fairplex Park Race Track
Fairplex Park is the home of live Thoroughbred racing during the Fair as well as inter-track wagering from Hollywood Park, Santa Anita, Del Mar, Los Alamitos, as well as Bay Meadows, Golden Gate Fields, Aqueduct, and Woodbine (Canada) throughout the year.
Fairplex Park also carries quarter horse and harness racing from Los Alamitos and Cal Expo in Sacramento.
Horse racing trainers also stable and train their thoroughbreds at Fairplex Park. The track is open for training throughout the year for qualified thoroughbred horses in training for racing.
